Other than Good Question at Swiss Chalet, this place gets the absolute best bands on the strip, bar none. Only once in 12 years have I been there when the band was so-so. Main bar near the stage, outside bar when the weather is nice and you want to talk to people. Picnic tables all over. Pretty big place, with a nice second outdoor stage. Don't be put off by the motorcycle crowd. Everyone here tends to be friendly of all types of people. Have met some great people here. Seems to be understaffed most of the time, but the staff does work hard. Only reason for 4 stars.
Great bar food! Really nice staff!
I hate giving one star reviews but I wasn't even given an opportunity to experience the service. We went in around 3PM on a sunny Friday afternoon. Not very busy time. We sat at a high top table right in front of the bar and the bar tender looked directly at me, I nodded, and she pulled out her phone. She ignored us and was chatting with the guy smoking indoors sitting at the bar. No server around aside from the bar tender. She also served a few people drinks who were also sitting at the bar. 10 minutes passed, we left.
Had a great time at Thunder on the strip. They had two stages for bands and one of the best bike shows around.
